How did you get started in your career? What path did you take to get to your current position?

Gabriela Snobrova: My career began at TRW, where I completed a global rotational Management Associate Program, with assignments in Germany, UK and China. Following TRW, I spent close to 18 years with NCR, with my final role being an HR Leader of NCR Services, a $2.5B business with 16,000 employees across 80+ countries. After leaving NCR, I discovered the fascinating and fast-paced world of private equity. I worked as the CHRO of Sigura, a global water treatment solution company that was acquired by Solenis LLC. I worked at Vista Consulting Group, a consulting arm of Vista Equity Partners, and at Acoustic, a marketing cloud platform organization.

In my current position as a Chief People Officer of CLEAResult, the largest provider of energy efficiency, energy transition, and sustainability solutions in North America, I have been responsible for driving all strategic and operational aspects of the HR function..

I received my bachelor’s degree in Economics from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, and master’s degree in Human Resources from Cornell University. As a participant of the EU Tempus/Erasmus exchange program, I also earned an Intensive Management Program Certificate from Limburg University in Belgium.

What’s something about internal investigations that many people get wrong?

GS: Many underestimate the importance of a strong, well-written investigation report. It’s an important piece of documentation that brings closure to a case, outlining clearly what happened and what actions were taken as a result of the investigation. A well documented report underscores the fact that the investigation was based on gathered evidence and data points, and was concluded in a timely and fair fashion. That is especially important as these reports may be cited as part of possible legal action.

What trends are you anticipating in the HR space?

GS: I fully anticipated that some of the trends from 2024 will spill over into 2025.  Leader and Manager Development will continue to be key in preparing the next generation of leaders. The ever-changing dynamic in how we work together, how we connect, and how we align, will keep Culture and Change Management at the forefront of talent priorities. Lastly, HR Technology and utilization of a growing number of technology solutions and offerings will be key in optimizing organizational performance, and allowing for agility and flexibility supporting the changing ecosystem that organizations face.

What attracts you to Case IQ?

GS: Case IQ is a phenomenal team of professionals developing and pioneering solutions that provide great value to organizations of different sizes, across all industries, local or global.

What do you think about Case IQ’s upcoming AI capabilities? How do you think they will help HR professionals?

GS: The ability to leverage technology in HR is one of the top priorities for many, if not all, HR professionals. Case IQ is on the cutting edge of utilizing AI inside its very comprehensive investigation management solution. I had a preview of the AI-powered Summarization Copilot, and I was very impressed. The ability to quickly produce a high-quality report summary will be appreciated by all stakeholders.
